From that time i have never cheated at least not in multiplayer games. At that time i didnt even know about some google translator. I was banned in days ago, that is about 6 years ago for Bunny-hop script on CSS bunny hop server. I would vote yes, everyone who were banned knows this feeling. Zero tollerance works, threads like this are proof. Poor cheaters, they should totally have a system that encourages them to cheat by having an inconsequential punishment. Oh no, I'm so sorry you ruined other people's good time for your own ammusement and are now inconvenienced. If you could pay to be unbanned, then there would be dozens of conspiracy threads saying Vac banned them to force them to pay more. Every generation of cheaters has its "Pay to de-VAC" thread People claim all the time Vac banned them for no reason. Or adding anyone with 'Paid to remove ban' on their profile. If they make it so that you can "buy" your way out of a ban, SourceMod servers will just add the option that bans anyone with ANY VAC ban to avoid the situation. Nope because this system benefits nobody but the accounts that are used to hack. I would love to hear others opinions on this topic. Yes i understand implementing a system like this to a program as vast as steam would most likely take a lot of work and maybe even some downtime but i would love to see this. I feel like this would not only be a good way to generate income for valve but also be a way to give people a second chance without having to moderate it as VAC will just ban any cheaters automatically if they go back to their old ways. Does anyone else agree that there should be a second chance system? If you get VAC banned again after paying to remove the vac ban then you can never pay to remove it again for the rest of eternity. Over days ago i made the poor decision to hack on CS:GO and now i have to buy a whole new account if i have to play it Which i will never do it is too inconvenient. I understand cheaters are hated by all and they ruin games. Paying to remove a VAC ban so you do not have to buy a new account. Easy way to remove a game ban from your Steam account!
